Student Experiences

“While attending Kinsale College I completed courses in Office Administration & Computer Skills and the Advanced Certificate in Business Management. The relaxed learning environment and support of lecturers contributed towards a very positive experience. On completion of the courses there were numerous further educational opportunities available through the CAO, College Links System and by Direct Application to Third Level Institutes. I found the courses covered a wide range of subjects and gave me a great understanding and foundation to progress to third level education in Business Studies in CIT.”

“My name is Corinne Domoney and I am currently studying Business Information Systems in CIT, as a mature student. This is a 4 year honours degree programme and I am thoroughly enjoying it. My favourite module is Computer Programming and Maths comes in second place for me. I always loved working with computers in various administration roles, so this led me to Kinsale College last year where I studied a Level 6 course in Business. This course included I.T. modules, which strengthened my interest and knowledge in this area. I was also given the opportunity to study Level 5 Maths as an extra module and really enjoyed the challenge. The area of Technology is so vibrant right now, and new jobs are being announced all the time. It’s all happening, and there are so many different aspects to it that I feel very excited about the future and working in this area.”
