Students in Kinsale College have access to a Career Guidance Counsellor, whose role is to support and advise students on their educational and career development by providing an understanding, student centred, inclusive service that students are encouraged to use throughout the academic year.
The Career Guidance Counsellor can support students in:
• Discovering how to progress to 3rd level with QQI qualifications
• Completing CAO & UCAS application forms
• Study Skills, Time management & Exam preparation
• Exploring career & education options
• Updating CV’s & Cover Letter
• College visits and Career events
• Designated information area for careers and progression

How to Apply
COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM
The application form can be completed online at www.kinsalecollege.ie or you can print a paper version from the website. When you apply online you will receive a personal account and ID, this will enable you to view all college correspondence in relation to your application. (Applicants can complete the application on-line in the college if required) If you print the application form, please complete all sections and return to the College at
ATTEND FOR INTERVIEW.
Applicants will be invited for interview at the college. Interviews are held a number of times per year from Springtime through to course commencement.
The interview simply acts to match the applicant against the course in terms of suitability, commitment and expectation.
ACCEPT PLACE ON COURSE
Successful applicants will be notified of the offer of a place on a college course by post and by e-mail. Applicants must secure this place by paying the relevant Course Fee before a set date. Failure to do so may result in the place being offered to another applicant.
REGISTRATION AND INDUCTION
When students are offered a place on a course the notification will also contain information regarding dates for registration and induction. All students must attend the college on these designated dates.
International – EU/EEA applicants
Non EU/EEA applicants must pay the full economic fees of € 3,653.

Kinsale College offer an e-learning platform to every student. Every student is set up on Moodle.
Teachers upload class notes and activities onto moodle on a regular basis so students can access these notes at home.

Applying for a PPS Number
All students, national and international, are required to supply a PPS number on their application form. International students currently living in Ireland who are not in possession of such a number should apply to:

Promoting Biodiversity onsite is our main theme alongside reducing waste levels, energy and water use in the college.
